Giving Flower Shop Rubbish New Life This Earth Day

Earth Day is fast approaching, and this occasion is a perfect time for everyone to think of ways to promote awareness of environmentalism and to make changes in their daily lives that are positive for the Earth. Flower Works is proud to participate in Earth Day in our own special way. At our flower shop in Marquette, MI, we keep all the excess materials and plant refuse from our store to create special artwork for Earth Day.

Why We Repurpose

What some people might regard as garbage or plant waste, we see as an opportunity to repurpose these materials into something beautiful. The artwork we create for Earth Day intends to promote awareness of the environment and show others the value of recycling, reusing, and ultimately reducing our negative environmental impact on our world. The purpose of Earth Day is to raise awareness of environmental protection. We believe our artwork initiative is just one way for us to give back to the planet that has given us everything we have.

Repurposing what otherwise might be considered garbage holds value far beyond Earth Day. We hope to inspire and encourage others to think of ways to repurpose old materials into new, beautiful creations. This concept can extend to many facets of modern life, and we hope to see more people embrace recycling, repurposing, and reusing as much as possible in their day-to-day lives beyond Earth Day.

How We Can Help

If you are interested in raising awareness for environmental protection this Earth Day, the team at Flower Works is happy to help.
