Crafting is a great way to escape the mundane aspects of everyday life. Crafting allows you to be artistic, and you don’t have to be good at it to have a good time. Flowers can be incorporated into several different craft projects that are great for any experience level. Flower crafts allow you to use bright vibrant flowers to create something more.
Dry Flowers
Drying flowers allows you to enjoy your favorite spring bloom as long as you want. Dry flowers make for unique and creative crafting ideas. There are several different methods that can be used to dry flowers. You can air-dry flowers, use the microwave, or use sand. Dry flowers can also be pressed. Pressing can be achieved by different techniques including using a book, flower press, iron, or microwave. All methods are simple, and just require an understanding of how long the process will take for success. Once your flowers are dry, the possibilities are endless!

There is nothing wrong with sticking to traditional uses of flowers. Grab your favorite vase and fill it with your favorite spring blooms, whether you are using dried or fresh flowers. Wreaths make great gifts and are perfect for simple exterior home décor. Wreaths make your entrance look inviting. You don’t have to be an expert crafter with endless supplies to make a beautiful wreath. All you need is a hoop, hot glue, greenery, and colorful flowers. Use your hot glue to add the greenery to the base of the hoop. You can then add your colorful arrangement.
Create a Frame
Dried flowers make amazing home décor. You can take a simple frame and create a trendy piece of art by pressing your dried flowers between the back and the glass. You can even switch out flowers to match the changing of the seasons. Flower frames look great in any room of the home.
Floating Décor
Flowers make great hanging décor. You can fill antique jars with your favorite spring flowers and hang them for a rustic look. You can also tie bouquets of dried flowers together, hanging them upside down from a mantle or as bedroom décor.
Mini Bouquets
A mini bouquet makes for a great gift, especially if you have a few people in your life you want to make feel special. All you need is your favorite flowers, twine, and paper to wrap. This is a great way to put leftover grocery bags to use. You can use the paper to write a personal, unique message to your loved one. Simply cut your flowers down short, wrap them in the paper, and tie them together with twine. You’re sure to brighten someone’s day with this easy-to-do craft.
